To assist the Faithful in encountering the presence of the Divine Healer through the Relics of Jesus and the Relics of His Saints.
Our mission is to bring people to encounter God. We want this encounter with Jesus to be a complete healing of body and soul through Christ, THE healer.
We will accomplish this by bringing before you the Catholic Church’s treasure trove of relics. In return, we hope this treasure of the triumphant Heavenly Body of Christ will bring you many blessings. By asking the Saints for their intercession to Jesus, our Healer, we ask our Merciful Lord to bring us to Heaven.
We want to give the Faithful opportunities to bear witness to God’s active healing power. Indeed, the Apostles and Saints have shown us how good and all-powerful our God is through their experiences with His healings and signs. And we, the Faithful, are Baptized with that same Holy Spirit, who will do these, and even greater wonders, for us. As these relics are venerated, may countless people witness Christ’s power and come to believe in Him. Let us bring God’s children to His fountain of grace.
Additionally, we seek to proclaim and preach the Good News, which is inseparable from God’s miraculous signs and wonders, just as Jesus did. Our ministry will help you encounter Jesus here and now by educating you about how the Saints lived their lives doing God’s will. Jesus continues to be compassionate. Only through Him can mankind undo the rages of our fall. After all, it is through the remorse that Saints felt for their sins, and Jesus’s subsequent forgiveness of them, that they were rewarded with holiness. For it is only Jesus who cleanses those contaminated with sin, and the Saints are our greatest examples of this wonderous experience.
Saints be to God wants to accomplish all of these goals not only via our relic exhibitions, but also by availing the youth in religious education and parochial schools with an encounter with Jesus and His Saints. By educating the Faithful, especially the young, we will plant seeds of saintly lives doing God’s will. We hope you will join us in our mission to evangelize with the greatest resources our Creator has given us: the testimonies of the Saints.
Jim’s Story
I grew up in Tonawanda, NY, halfway between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Several things influenced me greatly in my youth. Number one, attending St. Francis of Assisi Parochial school. Second, my parents: they both were active in the Parish and it was my dad who taught me how to collect things. At St. Francis, I took St. Robert (Bellarmine) as my Confirmation name.
In high school I became interested in printing, and went to college for printing production management. After graduating, I moved to Lowell, MA, and have stayed in the area ever since. After a couple of short term jobs, I was hired by the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, where I worked for 39 years.
My Spiritual journey continued after St. Francis when I made first retreat weekend as a sophomore in college. At my college parish, I remained active, and continued to be active after graduation in my new parish in Lowell, St. Rita’s. My wife and I met at church, and eventually had three very wonderful children. Patty passed at too young of an age. By the Grace of God, the grief of her passing has been replaced by knowing that she is praying for me.
My involvement in the Church continued after Patty’s death, with the ministries Cursillo, prayer groups, Feeding the Poor, ACTS retreats and Spiritual Books. The main ministry I am involved with now is called “Saints be to GOD!” – the Relics of Jesus and His saints – Helping the Faithful encounter God. The ministry is meant to help us to have a relationship with Jesus.
The start of my Relic story goes back to my childhood, when my farther taught me how to collect coins and other antiques. Having collecting things since my childhood and having 30 years of experience hunting and finding objects I like, it was not difficult to start looking for Relics after receiving my first one over 20 years ago. While working at the paper, we had a contract to print a monthly Catholic publication. I would end up talking about the saints with the nun who was in charge of the paper. One day, she surprised me with a Relic. This sparked me to learn as much as I could about Relics.
I was surprised that I could find them. Knowing how Holy these were, I asked my spiritual advisor if I could rescue them and have them venerated, as they should be, by the faithful. I now have a spiritual advisor specifically to help me with the Relics. My ministry is a huge blessing: bringing the Relics to the people to have them encounter God through the Relics of Jesus and His Saints. Healings and Graces abound.
